Today's pre-train entertainment is a little different than Comic-Con. #sd

Comic-Con is over. Seeing Captain America tonight, and then the train ride home where I blissfully don't have to walk much. #sdcc

A Sergio Aragonés drawing from the Quick Draw today. #sdcc

At the Quick Draw, this is what Sergio Aragonés drew (in about 3.2
seconds) when presented with "Draw a picture representing the most
traumatic moment from your childhood."

Calvin's Sergio Aragonés sketch. #sdcc

Normally a sketch like this costs $100 or so (which Sergio donates to the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund). But we stood there doing some friendly chatting with Maggie & Valerie Thompson and Sergio for a while, and when I eventually asked if Calvin could get some small sketch for $20 Sergio said, "Of course not! <pause> I do it for free for you. I cannot charge a friend for this!" Sergio is a nice man.

Since @kpshek posted @nbeyer's costume this morning, I thought I'd give you a shot of @kpshek's too. #sdcc

Good day: Chats with Sergio Arigonés, Maggie & Valerie Thompson, Don Rosa, and Patrick & Shelly Block. Some drawings, too. #sdcc

Hey, Valerie, on the off chance you ever see this: you have a great laugh. Thanks for using it to laugh at all my stupid jokes.

Getting pretty sick of nuts and protein bars. Look for my new book, "The Comic-Con Diet". #sdcc

This is my speed at Comic-Con. Very thrilled by this. Make room on the duck wall, Terry! #sdcc

Madness at the Marvel booth. #sdcc

There was only 30 minutes left for the show floor to be open, and Marvel decided it was time to randomly hand out crap. I don't think this was very well done. Basically they had one dude who would look around and decide who to hand something to. The crowd just kept pushing tighter and tighter. If you got something you were supposed to leave, but rarely did someone do that. (Yes, it was possible to leave. The crowd would part for someone moving in that direction and rapidly fill in the gap.)

A short video of the average show floor crowd. #sdcc

There was nothing special going on at this moment, this is just generally how crowded the show floor was most of the time.
